yea, I got a ticket a few months ago, and was able to opt for the defensive driving option. It is pretty painful to have teen drivers on your policy and I really dont want to add any extra cost to the bill. Somehow, I managed to get the date mixed up in my head and gave myself an extra 2 weeks to complete the class... so after a quick check and a frantic call to the court, I had to take defensive driving in one afternoon.
insert slight panic attack here.
Anyway I had received a few postcards outing me as a criminal to anyone who was within eyesight of the postcard... conveniently offering defensive driving over the web. So of course, I picked the prettiest one and pulled up the website.
$25.00 and six hours later I have survived a defensive driving class. You know, it wasnt the worst one I have ever had either...

Bonnie, I happened upon an older post with a comment from you. How funny! After 23 years of no tickets, I've recently gotten one and had to do the defensive driving thing. Is it old age? Teenagers? Hormones?

ps. Defensive driving was BORING...I could have taught it myself...Oh yeah!..I DID teach that course ....to four teens.
